Guest Mix- Deep Ethnic

Well here's something really deep, rootsy and spiritual for ya!. A mix of subliminal tender tones from the TKO dj don - Sahib (AKA Yama), recorded in 2000 at the infamous BLUE club in Aoyama, Tokyo, the home club of United Future Organization & Jazzbrothers back then.
I got to know Yamasan back in the mid 9T's, during that period i owned a dance music record shop in London and was in the process of selecting tracks for a shop compilation entitled "Atlas Earthed" and Yama's track "Infusion" with Kenny Future was included in the final edit...courtesy of another mutual friend Dave Henley of Pressure Drop....Ethnic, Tribal, Quality... Njoy.

This documentary film is not for the squeamish, but a real eye-opener. The Cove which covers the annual dolphin slaughter in a small town in Japan called Taiji (Wakayama Prefecture) drew international attention to the brutality of the hunt when it debuted in cinemas in the U.S., Europe, Oceania and other parts of Asia last summer.It has now been acquired by a Japanese distributor hoping to educate the Japanese population who remain largely unaware of the hunt. (Japanese)

The film, directed by Louie Psihoyos, contains footage of dolphins being brutally killed (be warned if you don't like to see such things) and points out that meat from the mammals has high levels of toxic methyl mercury.
