One of the most respected producers for his highly complex drum patterns, sequenced double bass lines and sophisticated sense for combining abstract sounds with jazz and classic techno influences that just keeps you begging for more...Now settled in LA, where he's scoring numerous soundtrack projects for major feature films, he's now back to the dancefloor with "The Avalanche EP" released last week on his own label Photek productions. Check out his recent interview with Red Ball Music Academy & his brilliant Influences Mix for FACT mag.....Essential!
And remember this from back in the day, '94 to be precise lifted from The Metalheadz 12" "Natural Born Killa EP", I used to drop a lot of D&B at 33⅓/half speed back then as the use of the amen break would lead to some propa break bizniz, but this used to be pitched right down for extra drum fest funkiness...Enjoy!

The Avalanche EP available in all good web stores.
