A lost mix has just resurfaced thanks to the Bossman himself, who's unearthed this little gem from 2001...At the time i was participating in a DJ tour of Japan, when towards the end of the trip we was invited to perform at the WA project/Peace Parade in Yoyogi Park in Tokyo. As a rehearsal for the gig we both went into a friends studio and messed around with samples, jingles & differing styles, it got recorded. A bit ruff around the edges but still sounding great...Enjoy!

Man Of Experience And Wisdom
Staying with some afrocentric electronica on Richard Sen's mixed blood cuts label, that dropped back in April. We're checking the talented Brazilian composer, arranger, multi-instrumentist, Pedro Zopelar's edit of Mulatu Astatke's 'Yekermo Sew'. Lifted from the french world music label Buda Musique's compilation 'Ethiopiques, Vol. 4', sure many of you have seen the Jim Jarmusch film 'broken flowers' you'll recognise this...Zopelar constructs an infectious percussive house groove without spoiling the essence of the original piece...one for naturalizum...summer sweetness!(download)
