British reggae star David Emmanuel aka Smiley Culture passed on today aged 48 apparently during a police drugs raid on his home, suspicious or what!Smiley Culture had a short burst of fame in the 1980s with singles 'Cockney Translation' and 'Police Officer' which both reached the UK singles charts.
